Nordic Ice Theatre has officially been established in January 2020.
Talk about perfect timing...

After years of performing ang choreographing for others, our founder and artistic director, Malgorzata, decided that time has come to create a company that would bring the unique artistic vision of her own to life.

Her goal was  (and still is, naturally!) to present and popularize figure skating and ice dance in the context of performing arts.

In Nordic Ice Theatre´s interdisciplinary performances, she wishes to experiment and utilize multiple art forms, while exploring the issues and topics that she believes are imperative for today’s society, using ice surface as a main medium. 

NIT´s  latest productions include:
´Winter Tales´ - a VOD performance premiered in March 2022
´Melting Point´ - a live, full-evening performance, premiered in February 2023
´Recurrence´- premiere in 2025

Apart from performing, NIT also provides education in dance and figure skating -both in the form of private classes as well as group workshops.

Creating choreography for both dancers and figure skaters (for competitions, as well as for performances) is also part of our expertise.
